Jacob's Ladder Review - Classic Psychological Horror

Jacobs Ladder (1990)

This is a fantastic psychological thriller yet I get the same vibes as IT and Apocalypse Now from it.  It moves nice and steady, not too slow and not too fast and has lots of cool ambient lighting and gritty settings.  This movie has some pretty damn creepy moments but really gets serious at about an hour and ten minutes in.  If you not only like horror but also eerie movies and conspiracy theory movies with an old style than this is the movie for you.  There is a moral to this story that's possibly based on a theory about chemicals used in Vietnam but I'll let you figure all that out on your own.  Classic
